WordPress Installation Plans

The Basic Plan: $55.00

This is for you if all you want is to get WordPress installed on an existing hosted site that you already own. I will not only install the WordPress software, but I will also install a few other helpful plugins, and install and configure Akismet spam protection. (Yes, that’s right, I include the potentially confusing process of obtaining and installing the API Key you need to make your site work with Akismet and WordPress stats!) I will also send you a detailed email with the information you need to take over on your own from there.

The Tier Two Plan: 90.00

Here I will do all of the above, plus install and configure several additional plugins that will make your blog more reader friendly. I will also configure the basic settings of WordPress. I will send you a detailed email and also answer initial questions you may have to get you logged into your WordPress site and working on your content. This plan gets you going, but does not include ongoing support, education or maintenance services. If you use this option and decide later that you need additional support or service, it is always available at a very reasonable price.

The Tier Three Plan: 160.00

This plan includes all of the above plus 10 days of email and Instant messaging support answering questions you may have as you learn how to optimize and configure your WordPress installation. It also includes an hour of my time that you can use on phone calls, or for me to actually log into your installation to configure or customize WordPress or plugins. On a time spent basis this is actually less profitable for me than either or the first two options. It is offered because I know it is really the best start someone can get toward being able to maintain their own site.

The Hosting Plus WordPress Plan: 195.00

This is the plan to choose if you have already communicated with me and purchased hosting using the information on my hosting plan page. In addition to everything in plan 3 above, I will also manage and configure the hosting plan setup.

Ongoing Support

I am available to provide ongoing maintenance and administrative support if you need it.  I charge either a very reasonable houlry rate, or if you prefer, I have a monthly retainer rate available.
